Harvest Hosts is a membership program for RV camping: unlock unlimited overnight stays at 43 Alaska locations, and thousands more.
Learn MoreSouth of Anchorage, the Seward and Sterling Highways deliver the Alaska of postcards — Kenai Fjords, combat fishing on the Russian River, and Homer's famous Spit. Brewery and farm stays here anchor the state's most RV-traveled corridor. Summer weekends are the real deal for crowds; request stays ahead.
Anchorage is the supply stop, and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley just north grows Alaska's famously oversized produce under the midnight sun. Farm stays here pair with Hatcher Pass drives and Denali views on clear days from the Parks Highway.
The Interior rewards the long drive north: Denali National Park en route, gold-rush history in Fairbanks, and the aurora from late August onward. Garden and attraction stays around Fairbanks make a natural turnaround point before the run back south — or the launch point for the truly adventurous heading up the Dalton.
Alaska road trips start and end through Canada — browse hosts in Yukon and British Columbia to break up the Alaska Highway drive.
RVers who make it to Alaska earn a different kind of trip — glaciers off the highway shoulder, 20-hour summer days, and towns where the brewery doubles as the community living room. Alaska has 43 Harvest Hosts locations offering overnight RV stays at breweries, farms, and attractions along the state's legendary road system. Member favorites include Rustic Family-Owned Craft Brewery and Scenic Riverside Community Garden — the state's two most-booked hosts. Hosts are fewer and farther between than in the Lower 48, which makes each one more valuable: a guaranteed overnight with a story attached, in a state where campground options thin out fast between towns.

What a fun place to stay - when we saw there was a raceway in Alaska we HAD to visit! We arrived on Saturday and when we realized there were drag races on Sunday, we easily extended our stay. We were able to walk around all of the grounds on Saturday (both the very long drag strip and the oval) and talked to a bunch of the regulars at the track. A fun sense of community (with both kids and seasoned adults racing). The entry fee was crazy cheap- as were the concessions. A wonderful family friendly environment and primo parking for Harvest Host guests. (Having access to the well-maintained port o potties was appreciated too!)
