Harvest Hosts is a membership program for RV camping: unlock unlimited overnight stays at 75 Massachusetts locations, and thousands more.
Learn MoreThe state's host heartland: farmstead wineries and breweries among the hill towns between Worcester and the Connecticut River, with the Mohawk Trail (Route 2) delivering premier fall color westward. Brimfield's famous antique shows (May, July, September) transform the area: a bucket-list stop if your timing lands.
North Shore rewards include Salem, Gloucester's working waterfront, and clam shacks worth the detour. Take advantage of the park-and-ride and commuter rail combination to explore the city while staying outside of it.
The Cape in an RV requires timing: cross the canal bridges early on summer weekends or don't cross at all until Tuesday. September repays patience with warm water, open roads, and classic New England shore towns at their calmest.

Massachusetts has 75 Harvest Hosts locations offering overnight RV stays at farmstead wineries, orchards, and breweries. Unlike its traffic reputation suggests, most of the hosts sit in the state's rolling, uncrowded middle, where history anchors every route: Boston and Plymouth on one end, Berkshire cottages on the other, and 400-year-old farm towns between. Member-favorite stops include Historic Farmstead Winery Retreat, Country Vineyard & Live Music Retreat, and Historic Lumberyard Craft Brewery — the state's three most-booked hosts, all in the central hills. Members can choose from 12 farm stays, 3 wineries, and 6 breweries statewide.

Convenient location to visit Newport. Very level spot with the horse barn ahead of us, and the cow pasture behind is. Loved seeing all the animals. Nice gift shop with a variety of items reasonably priced.
