About
Embark on a journey to the heart of Arizona's sunbaked wilderness and find a creative oasis where artistry and nature converge. This unique Harvest Host location is not just a place for RV camping; it's a cultural experience enveloped in the striking beauty of Arizona's desert. As your RV nestles amongst four sprawling acres of cacti and rugged terrain, you'll discover a pyramid-shaped gallery that showcases a world of artistic excellence. Strategically located on Highway 85, your RV adventure will bring you just a stone's throw from major attractions like Organ Pipe National Monument and the vibrant Mexican town of Sonoyta, with the inviting shores of Puerto Penasco a mere 91 miles away. The quaint town of Ajo dots the landscape to the north, offering a quiet slice of rural Arizona life. This host offers unique shopping opportunities featuring a fusion of art and craftsmanship. Wake each morning to the aromatic delight of freshly roasted Curley Coffee, and explore the gallery where each piece tells the story of transformationfrom simple gourds to masterpieces of art, from reclaimed barbed wire to striking wall statements. The hosts' individual and collaborative works reflect the essence of the desert, with butterflies and flowers immortalized on wood, charred with intricate patterns that echo the wildness of your surroundings. Your four-legged companions are also welcome here, where Cody, the friendly resident American Eskimo pup, sets the tone for a pet-friendly stay. While enjoying the ambient creativity, remember to respect the local wildlife by keeping pets leashed and maintaining the cleanliness of your camping spot. Though touched by the hum of the nearby highway by day, nights fall serene under the vast desert sky, perfect for stargazing and tranquilityensuring your off-grid living doesn't disturb the peace with a quiet period from 10 pm to 6 am. RV camping at this artistic hub offers you not just a stopover but an enriching experience that feeds your soul with art, nature, and the unforgettable flavor of the Southwest. Here, every sunset brings a new canvas, and every dawn awakens the muse of the desert.

Items to Purchase
We invite you to browse our gallery shop for our art creations, fresh roasted coffee beans from local roaster Curley Coffee and art from other local artists. There are All-Terrain Vehicle trails near us and you are welcome to explore the area. Ajo has a lot to offer! Wonderful restaurants (we have our favorites), Artisans Mercado every Saturday morning on the plaza, Sunday breakfasts, Ajo Pie pizza (usually on Thursdays), cute shops (Copper Javelina, Three Nations Market, Curley School, Art Gallery on the plaza and more), the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge and even the Ajo Country Club golf course (also a Harvest Host). The Why Not gas station and convenience store just south of us (you can walk there) is not to be missed! Take your time and enjoy our community!
