2 Miles from I-40 you can experience peace and quite from the tension of driving and the hassles of life. Slow down, settle in and enjoy the quiet beauty of open pastureland, rolling skies, and grazing animals. Many evenings, a herd of deer can be seen wandering through the pasture at sunset, creating a picture-perfect end to the day. Guests who wish to be a little more hands-on are welcome to join us at @6 pm to help feed the rescue animals or collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop. If time allows, you may also enjoy a nature walk through the Civil War Meadow or to the North 40 pasture, home to abundant deer and wildlife. Whether you’re stopping for one night or lingering a little longer, our farm offers a relaxing blend of nature, animals, and authentic Arkansas countryside hospitality. Please note we are a working farm and have Livestock Guardian Dogs to protect our animals. Some nights they bark a lot to protect the animals from coyotes and other predators. Your experience may vary. Some tips to make your stay more enjoyable are: 1) Closed toed shoes are suggested. 2) Please don't feed the animals as they will always want more. 3) Keep your vehicle in the designated areas as the ground can be soft outside those areas if it has rained recently. 4) Ask if you have questions.
