We are a family owned regenerative "farmstead" business. Nestled right on the edge of Courtenay, BC - in the mid-island Eastern coast of Vancouver Island. We are near the local Walmart, which makes us a very convenient stop-over point. Though we're very close to town, you'd think you've "arrived" at a bit of an oasis spot. Boastful? No, we prefer "surprisingly truthful". We are an active farmers, with other tenants farmers producing their goods, raising cattle and generally being very Rural, but right on the edge of town! Come see our goats, Merry and Pippin, and use your stopover to park in what feels like a bit of a secret spot, within walking distance of a recognized Salmon creek. You can relax as the Sun drifts slowly behind the Strathcona Range, and if conditions are right, see the sky change color as light bounces around the Comox Glacier at sunset. At the South end of the farm, we also have 14 acres of forest you might want to explore! Eat your dinner, and breakfast the next day within earshot and sight of the creek. You can even get some of our farm fresh eggs for brekkie... we have chicken and duck eggs! You'll see Bald Eagles (1 resident pair and two pairs of visitors), possibly our resident Blue Heron, visiting ducks at the pond, and a myriad of other visiting birds and critters.
