About
This pastoral property welcomes RV and camper guests to a 44-acre family-run farm nestled in Florida's panhandle, where visitors can park in spacious, level, fenced pastures—providing dogs and children with ample room to roam freely. The location operates year-round and offers no hookups, making it ideal for those traveling fully stocked and self-sufficient. Guests are greeted warmly upon arrival and guided to their designated camping area with attentive, personal service. The farm features a diverse array of animals, including Miniature Tennessee Fainting Goats (naturally pasture-raised and pesticide-free), wool sheep, guinea fowl, chickens, peacocks, ducks, and guardian Great Pyrenees dogs. Many visitors enjoy guided farm tours where they can observe the animals up close, learn about the property's history, and sometimes interact with newborn kids and chicks. The native Mayhaw berry orchard is a highlight for those interested in understanding local agriculture and food production. An on-site country store showcases homemade products made by the owners and staff, including award-winning Mayhaw berry jelly, honey, fresh eggs, local sausage and beef, Satsuma orange juice, and handcrafted items such as pottery, fiber arts, and goat milk soap. Tastings are often available, allowing guests to sample before purchasing. The shop also features unique, locally-sourced goods ideal for gift-giving. The surrounding area offers exceptional recreational opportunities, including nearby kayaking and canoeing waterways, scenic canopied county roads perfect for biking, and the historic downtown of Monticello—known for its architectural heritage, shops, and opera house. The property itself provides a peaceful, quiet escape with minimal light pollution, making it perfect for stargazing and reconnecting with nature.
