Settle in by the koi pond behind our small gift shop, where you’ll also find our farm‑raised beef and beautiful items crafted by local artisans — including local honey produced just four miles north of us. You’re welcome to wander through our flower and vegetable gardens. If you’d like to pick a few vegetables for your evening meal, just let us know — we’re happy to help. For breakfast, we keep ground pork in our farm shop, and we can arrange for you to purchase fresh eggs from a nearby farm just down the road. Take a peaceful walk along the fence line and visit with the cows and calves as they graze in the pastures. Directly across from our fields is the Sangamon Forest Preserve, where you can enjoy a two‑mile trail through native prairie grasses and wildflowers. You may even spot a deer or two along the way, and the birds are always busy among the blooms. In the evening, wind down beside a crackling campfire — we always keep plenty of wood handy. And when the sky grows dark, don’t forget to look up. The constellations are beautifully visible from our farm, offering a peaceful end to your day.
