Welcome to Sadona Farms, a USDA-classified small urban farm nestled on 10 peaceful acres—owned and operated by Daniel, a Marine Corps veteran, and Robin, a pediatric nurse. Rooted in community and local living, our farm is a true labor of love.❤️ ❤️ We specialize in growing a diverse mix of vegetables for area farmers markets, seasonal chefs, and our own cozy farm stand. Our honeybees are hardworking pollinators that help everything flourish—and when they’re feeling generous, they share some honey with us too. Life on the farm includes the cheerful presence of free-range chickens and vibrant peacocks, whose calls add a little character and color to the peaceful rhythm of the day. You may also hear the distant sound of a train about a half-mile away—a gentle reminder that while you’re surrounded by nature, you’re still just minutes from modern convenience. We’re also excited to share the start of something special—our newly planted lavender field! This spring we planted over 350 lavender plants, with more on the way next season. Whether you’re a lavender lover or just curious, be sure to stop by and see our baby lavenders as they settle into their new home. Our seasonal roadside farm stand is open from June through October, stocked with whatever’s fresh and in season—from vegetables and free-range eggs to homemade jams and baked treats like blackberry or peach cobbler. For RV guests, we’re happy to deliver farm-fresh goodies right to your door. Our hot breakfasts—like biscuits and gravy or fluffy pancakes—are a favorite way to start the day. We’re just 3 miles off I-65, with gravel, wood chip, and grass sites available. Limited 15/30/50 amp hookups are offered—please let us know in advance if you’ll need one and what amp you require. Sadona Farms is a quiet, rural retreat that makes a perfect home base for exploring Southern Indiana or nearby Louisville, Kentucky. Spend a day in Madison’s charming Historic Downtown or take a short drive to the Louisville Zoo, Kentucky Kingdom, or the Louisville Slugger Museum.
