About
Sadona Farms: A Small Urban Farm with Big Heart
Welcome to Sadona Farms, a USDA-classified small urban farm on 10 acres, owned and operated by Daniel, a Marine Corps veteran, and Robin, a pediatric nurse. Our farm is a labor of love rooted in community and holistic, local living.
We grow a wide variety of vegetables for area farmers markets, our roadside farm stand, and local chefs who value high-quality, fresh-picked produce. Our honeybees play a vital role in pollination, and while they occasionally bless us with honey, it’s their behind-the-scenes work that keeps the farm thriving.
Our free-range chickens provide daily fresh eggs, and mornings begin with the crow of roosters, the chatter of hens, and the occasional proud call of our peacocks. You might also hear the gentle hum of a train in the distance—a reminder you’re still close to everything, yet wonderfully removed.
From June through October, our seasonal farm stand is stocked with fresh vegetables, homemade jams, free-range eggs, and treats like blackberry or peach cobbler. For your convenience, we’re happy to deliver farm-fresh goodies right to your RV—hot breakfasts like biscuits and gravy or pancakes are a guest favorite.
We’re located just 3 miles off I-65 with gravel, wood chip, and grass sites available. Limited 15/30/50 amp electric hookups are available—please let us know if you’ll need one and specify the amp required.
Sadona Farms is a peaceful, rural retreat that makes a great base to explore Southern Indiana and nearby Louisville, Kentucky. Spend a day in Madison’s award-winning Historic Downtown or visit Louisville’s attractions like the Zoo, Kentucky Kingdom, and the Louisville Slugger Museum.
