Hey there! We’re Keri and Troy 🍍 We bought this peaceful 5-acre property in early 2024 and have been pouring love (and a fair amount of sweat) into it ever since. During the warmer months, this is our happy place — and we love sharing it with fellow travelers who enjoy a little space, a lot of quiet, and maybe a Jimmy Buffett song or two drifting through the breeze. We’re about 5 miles from the nearest town and 30 miles from the beautiful Iowa Great Lakes region. Rango – Blue Heeler and self-declared sheriff. He takes his job a little too seriously. Remi – Sweet Kelpie with a calm soul and a soft spot for shade. Tucker – Our young German Shorthaired Pointer with endless energy and a deep love for new friends (especially the four-legged kind). They love people and will likely swing by to say hello. That said, they’re not always thrilled to meet new animals — Rango especially prefers to stay top dog. Please keep your dogs leashed and near your rig. Other types of pets (cats, goats, parrots, etc.) are best left at home — our crew is already suspicious of squirrels. ---
