Black Cat Canes is a small, one-man wood shop that produces unique, one-of-a-kind canes and walking sticks. As a specialty item for our rv friends, we also offer camper sized cutting boards along with a variety of eclectic (and very affordable) handmade wood products. Come into the shop and get a feel for how these items are created. Maybe, Jett Black, the namesake of Black Cat Canes will make an appearance. We are situated on a beautiful (and quiet) 10-acre farm, that overlooks a small valley. Our wood shop is located in a rustic barn that was once used for cattle and has been reinvented as a workshop. Dresden is a beautiful, small, rural Maine town located on the eastern side of the Kennebec River. There are services available next door in the thriving metropolis of Richmond; gas, propane, groceries, a bank, a hardware store, a pub with great pizza, an Asian takeout, and two, yes two restaurants (one is open for breakfast and lunch only, the other all day). So come, visit and enjoy the peace and quiet of Dresden.
