Hello! We're happy to share our 42 acre farm with you while you're traveling! We're a family farm growing corn, making whiskey, and raising kids, cats and cows. My wife, Natalie, and I (Nate) are veterans, travelers, and adventurers. We've lived on a 41 ft sailboat called Astraea for 5 years. We took a break from boat life for 6 months and traveled the USA in our 19' 1990 Toyota Minnie Winnie when we were taking a short summer break from cruising our boat after I got out of the Navy. Using heritage red corn and Appalachian Mountain spring water, we small-batch distill and bottle family favorite recipes to provide you pleasure with each sip! Our farm distillery has a tasting room in Boonsboro, MD, which you can visit. There, we offer cocktails, moonshine tastings, and freezer beef for sale. The farm is open during the week for production and during a special event during the weekend before Thanksgiving. We rely on the sales of tastings & tours and you purchasing bottles and jars to enjoy and share with friends and family to share a beautiful taste and stay in the Pleasant Valley with you. If you’d like to tour the farm and distillery, we’re usually able to accommodate short them afternoons before 3pm and evenings at 8:30.
