About
We live out in the middle of the country, about 5 miles to the next little town for groceries, gas station & the hospital is about 10 minutes away. We are a small homestead that has Kunekune Pigs and 125-ish chickens, ducks, turkey and quail.
Suggested Local Attractions:We are about 45 minutes from Birch Run Outlet Mall or Frankenmuth (famous for their German beer and Chicken). If you are into Kayaking, we are about 20 minutes from great launch spots and rails to trails.

We are empty nesters. David is a Manufacturing Engineer; Sonya is a professional Baker/cake Designer. They live in the country in the middle of thumb in Northern Lapeer County on 5 acres. We converted a 7x14 cargo trailer into a Tiny Off Grid House-Camper and enjoy going to less busy areas to explore and relax.
Home Town:
We are located a few miles north of the Village of North Branch in the middle of the Thumb.
Skills or Expertise to Share:
Between the two of us, we can fix almost anything. We have 30 years of homesteading/self sufficient/simple living, gardening, canning, dehydrating, freeze drying along with professional baking.
