About
Embrace the rustic charm of the Driftless Area as you park your RV amidst the serene beauty of a family-run farmstead offering a unique camping experience. Here, RV camping transcends the ordinary with the added delight of being surrounded by organic vegetable gardens and mushroom plots. This gem, tucked away just a 15-minute drive from Interstate 90, offers a blend of peaceful countryside living with the convenience of nearby attractions. Enveloped by 80 acres of lush woodlands and newly restored prairie land, RV campers will find solace in the rolling hills and nature's melody. Fishing enthusiasts can spend their days angling in the trout-rich Mill Creek, only a mile away, while paddling fans will find bliss in Chatfield's canoeing and kayaking opportunities. For land adventurers, a swoop of hiking trails awaits exploration, and cyclists will revel in the scenic 60 miles of paved trails in Lanesboro. After a day of outdoor pursuits, gather around a crackling fire pit or dine al fresco at the picnic table, with the possibility of indulging in gluten-free baked goods. Seasonal produce bursts from the earth, presenting guests with the freshest of flavors. Just down the road, the town of Chatfield invites visitors to savor local delicacies at restaurants, sip on craft brews, and enjoy cultural encounters at music events, all while providing practical amenities including a grocery store and RV supplies. Bear in mind, the last stretch to this countryside retreat is a gravel road, adding a little adventure before you settle in. Check-in times and stay durations offer flexibility to fit your travel plans, making sure your RV camping experience is nothing short of perfect. For a touch of culture, links to local trails, and the nearby Chatfield Center for the Arts are available to enhance your stay. This destination doesn't just promise a memorable RV camping journey; it immerses you in the pastoral poetry of Minnesota's Driftless Area.
