About
Welcome to Our Lake Hopatcong Retreat Located just minutes off Routes 15 and 80 in northern New Jersey, our home base at Lake Hopatcong offers the perfect mix of lakeside tranquility, local flavor, and easy access to New York City. Whether you're seeking a peaceful waterfront escape or an action-packed getaway, this location puts you right in the heart of it all. Lake Hopatcong is New Jersey’s largest lake, a four-season destination beloved by boaters, paddlers, anglers, and nature lovers alike. Lake Hopatcong Adventure Company offers kayaks, paddleboards, hydrobikes, and more to get you moving on the water. Hop aboard the Miss Lotta, a 57-foot cruise boat offering scenic tours of the lake complete with onboard dining and drinks. For some friendly competition, enjoy a round of mini golf overlooking the lake at the Lake Hopatcong Golf Club, a favorite with families and couples alike. Waterfront Dining & Local Eats Stone Water: Upscale and stylish with a modern American menu and stunning lakeside views. Jefferson House: A casual classic for burgers, brews, and live music in the summer. Alice's: An elevated yet laid-back option for weekend brunch or a romantic dinner. The Windlass: A local institution featuring dockside seating, live music, and hearty favorites. The Beacon: A newer addition with a vibrant cocktail menu and fresh coastal-inspired dishes. Jefferson Diner – as seen on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives! This retro gem serves everything from Greek specialties to triple-decker sandwiches. POP’s Bagel Shop in Wharton – Widely praised for their authentic New York-style bagels, hot, fresh, and kettle-boiled every morning. Hike through over 3,000 acres at Mahlon Dickerson Reservation, featuring miles of well-marked trails, scenic overlooks, and peaceful picnic spots. Head to Dover or Denville NJ Transit stations, hop on a direct train to New York Penn Station and find yourself in Midtown Manhattan in just over an hour—ideal for a Broadway show, museum visit, or city stroll. Take the train to Hoboken, then board a ferry across the Hudson River—one of the most picturesque ways to view the skyline. From Hoboken, you can also take the light rail to Liberty State Park, where you can access the National Park at the Statue of Liberty and explore the Liberty Science Center—a must-visit for kids and curious minds of all ages.

Hookup Notes
The power is at the corner of the garage. NOTE power is 30a split phase (60a total) vs a true 50a split phase (100a total). Water is in-front of the garage. Sewer has a separate cap with a 3" adapter must be threaded in. It is extra long length from the driveway so you may need additional lengths of sewer hose. We have a macerator pump and hose that you may borrow if that is easier (it needs to be connected to 12v power to run.
