About
Lewiston is a quaint, historical village as far west in Western NY, as it gets. We are located at the Niagara River between Niagara Falls, NY, and Youngstown, NY. Lewiston is full of good restaurants for any taste and any wallet. This is true for Center Street but some are also hiding in the side streets. There are numerous parks and state parks to visit and numerous activities to participate in, finding something for everyone's taste and preference. Canada (Ontario) is on the other side of the river; don’t forget to bring your valid passport. You Suggested Local Attractions: There are a lot of touristic attractions around here. Too many to list. Please search the internet for "Niagara Falls" (NY and Canada), "Niagara on the Lake" (CA), "Lewiston" (NY), and Buffalo, (NY). If you want to venture a little farther you may want to include Toronto in your search.

The next cities are Niagara Falls NY or CA (10 min drive), Buffalo (40 min drive), or Toronto (1-hour drive depending on border/road traffic). Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: Standard village road in good condition. This is a private home with a straight driveway, a parallel grass patch, and a concrete patch, both at the left of the house The final parking spot on gravel and/or concrete is easy to reach, the concrete patch if desired, is a little tight; you should be reversing in; water and electricity access are at the concrete patch. If the weather is very wet the access is not ideal: the grass to be surpassed tends to get muddy and slippery; let’s assess the situation together when you are here. The smaller your trailer or camper van, the easier is it to get in. 5th wheels or large type A campers do certainly not fit There is a standard household 110 V outlet (15 A), which does not provide enough amps to run your air conditioner. There is also a clean water connection right there. The spot is not useful for extended vacations (we are in the center of the village) but it is good for one or two nights. Also you need to understand that you are in the middle of a village, in a tight neighborhood and in the public‘s eyes and ears. Habits, appearance and noise level need to be tailored to this fact. Our road is a main thoroughfare for walking guests of the near by Lewiston Art Park. You will be seen - that is: no outside set-up of camping gear please. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Either on the grassy area, close to your trailer, or on a public parking lot (no charge) within 2 min walking distance.

House Rules
No loud music, no excessive drinking and shouting. Keep your friendly dog on a leash please - we live at a busy and pot. dangerous neighborhood road. Please be aware that we have a big and typically friendly dog too. Compatibility with yours, however, should not necessarily assumed before verified. No open fires. No generator please, no motors running for more than 10 min max. Just the standard rules of neighborly courtesy.
