About
Imagine parking your RV amidst the gentle mooing of dairy cows and the rustle of corn stalks swaying in the breeze. Welcome to this enchanting agricultural haven where RV camping meets the bucolic charm of a fourth-generation farm. Engage with the authentic farm life as you witness the careful milking of 110 cows, partake in the delight of seasonal sweet corn, and learn about the innovative cultivation of hempa plant with as much potential as it is intriguing to watch grow. This pastoral paradise radiates the warmth of red International Harvester tractors, which not only accentuate the green fields but also come with their own storiesand servicesyear-round. As you settle in, let the locally grown feed such as sorghum and alfalfa enrich your understanding of sustainable farming practices that have been refined over generations. Seasonal delights on this farm span from late July to October, with fresh sweet corn available right from the charming self-serve stands in the neighboring Cambridge. The venture into hemp growth adds an educational twist to your stay; dive into discussions about regulations and the economic landscape shaping this burgeoning industry. When ready to explore the scenic Washington County, embark on a short trip to the historic Battenkill River. While there, admire the Rexleigh Covered Bridge and the remnants of the Rexleigh Marble Mill. Don't miss a chance to meander through the lush hydrangea at The Georgi on the Battenkill, or indulge in local bites such as a sandwich from Yushaks Market. Cultural pursuits abound with the arts showcased at the Historic Salem Courthouse and performances at the Fort Salem Theater. Golfing enthusiasts can revel in a round at Ondawa Greens' 9-hole golf course, boasting exceptional views and full amenities. Craft beer connoisseurs will delight in the proximity to Argyle Brewing Company and RS Taylor & Sons Brewery, with each pint reflecting the area's rich agricultural roots. And for food lovers, the vicinity offers everything from delectable burgers at The Bog to the roving delicacies of Amys Country Kitchen. Cap the day with a treat from Battenkill Valley Creamery or the exquisite sugar candy from Mapleland Farms. Whether you're here for a brief respite en route to your next adventure or settling in for a multi-day exploration, a wealth of experiences await. Experience life on a working dairy, delight in the local arts, and relish in the tastes of the countryside. As the host fondly remarks, "Never been happier," and you're invited to discover just why that isright here, where the RV camping experience harmoniously blends with the rhythms of farm life.
