We are a fifth-generation family farm. We like to do things the old-fashioned way. We are primarily a cow-calf cattle operation. Our cows spend most of the summer in the pasture, which is where you’ll be staying. Our pasture is partially wooded, and we rotationally graze our cattle, so sometimes they are on the same side, and sometimes they are on the North side. Regardless, always be sure to close the gate behind you. 😊We do also have beehives that summer on the farm in the North pasture. We farm with mostly antique machinery, and in the summer, you may spot us making hay on our hay fields next to the pasture. Our family loves animals and sharing those animals with our community. In addition to the beef cattle, we also have a few specialty animals that love to be loved on. These critters have their own separate pastures and include sheep, goats, a mini Hereford, and a mini horse. We have a bit of an animal business/ministry where we take these specialty animals to local nursing homes, schools, and the occasional birthday party. Another division of our small animals includes ducks, chickens, rabbits, and, most recently, a painted turtle. We also have a few older animals: Charlotte, a potbelly pig, Little Bit-a mammoth donkey, and Tom the turkey that freely roam the barnyard during the day. We often have duck or chicken eggs available.
