Our townhouse is located right in the downtown core of Ottawa, approximately 20 minute walk from the Parliament buildings. We are very close to a variety of biking trails that crisscross the city and are very close to the junction of three rivers. Just across the Ottawa River in the province of Quebec we have access to an amazing national park called Gatineau Park, and it has amazing walking and biking trails throughout the park. From our home one can easily walk or bike to many major attractions like museums, the Byword Market, restaurants, the Rideau Canal waterway and bike trails. For people who like casinos, there is one in nearby Gatineau. Ottawa also has a number of professional and semi-professional sports teams for every season. In the summertime there are various music festivals and they are very accessible from our house.
