About
This small family-owned sheep farm offers a peaceful country retreat with convenient access from I-40. Nestled on quiet pastureland and surrounded by large shade trees, the property provides a serene setting for overnight guests, with views of both the host's sheep pasture and a neighboring 100-acre cattle farm across the road. The location strikes an ideal balance—close enough to the interstate for easy access, yet far enough removed to create a restful atmosphere. The parking area features a level gravel spot with amenities including electrical hookups (20/30/50 amp) available for a small donation, as well as water access. The space includes thoughtfully arranged outdoor seating with a picnic table and rocking chairs, creating a welcoming sanctuary for guests to relax and enjoy the pastoral surroundings. The farm operates using natural, sustainable practices—no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers—and raises livestock humanely without hormones, medications, or antibiotics. Guests frequently mention the property's well-trained livestock guardian dogs, including beautiful Anatolian Shepherds that patrol the farm while remaining respectful to overnight visitors. Many travelers enjoy learning about the farm's operations and spending time with the animals, with some guests experiencing special moments such as holding newborn lambs or watching the curious cattle across the road. The hosts are known for their exceptional communication, responsiveness to same-day and late-arrival requests, and genuine hospitality. The accommodations work well for various rig sizes, though backing into the spot from the road requires care and experience. The peaceful setting, combined with clear starry skies and proximity to nearby attractions and services, makes this a memorable stop for those traveling through the region.

Hookup Notes
Electric is available for a donation towards our electric bill, we have no set price. Water is free. However, you'll need to ask us to turn on the water, as the hydrant is in the middle of our pasture. When unhooking the water hose from your RV there will be a hose nozzle to attach to the end of the hose. It's fairly easy to crimp the hose, detach & attach the nozzle since we have a water pressure reducer on that water supply line.
