Homestead east of Livingston, TX with peaceful open field with option of water and electric hookups and access to black tank dump. Note that the last three miles are dirt road. Perfectly drivable - no width problems, but if it’s raining hard when you get here, take it slowly or give it an hour to settle after the rain and it’s not so bad. We’ve driven both our 38’ Class A Motorhome and F-350 with a 38’ 5th Wheel on the road either no problems, and manufactured homes have been delivered down the road to our neighbors. Occasionally the road gets a bit washboard-ish, but they scrape it regularly. We offer the lake for free catfish catching. Catch your own dinner! Or perhaps you’d like to roast a free-range organically fed chicken for dinner. Or, if you’re interested, come help with the animals! The goats and pigs love to be fed, and the catfish look like piranhas when we feed them… :) We are 7 miles (15 minutes) from downtown Livingston where they have boutiques and local produce and several locally owned restaurants.
