About
Nestled just one mile off the highway, this working alpaca farm offers a peaceful and convenient overnight retreat surrounded by natural beauty. The property spans seven acres with spectacular mountain views and features level, easy-access parking on firm-packed gravel with pull-through sites. Guests appreciate the quiet, safe setting that feels far removed from the freeway despite its proximity, along with helpful hosts who greet visitors upon arrival and provide clear parking guidance for rigs of all sizes.
The farm is home to an impressive variety of animals that captivate visitors of all ages—approximately 60 alpacas raised for fiber and showing, along with horses, a friendly pony, peacocks, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, cats, and guardian dogs. An optional one-hour guided farm tour offers an educational and hands-on experience where guests learn about alpaca care and have the opportunity to interact with these curious and gentle animals. The on-site shop features an excellent selection of alpaca fiber products including socks, beanies, scarves, blankets, and felted soaps, as well as original art prints and locally sourced items like organic free-range eggs and raw honey.
Guests consistently praise the welcoming and knowledgeable hosts who take genuine time to educate visitors about their operation and animals. Many reviews highlight the peaceful atmosphere, spacious grounds with ample shade, and the unique opportunity to watch alpacas from the comfort of their RVs. The property's convenient location—one hour north of Salt Lake City with easy access to nearby attractions like Willard Bay, Crystal Hot Springs, and seasonal fruit stands—makes it an ideal stopover for travelers.
This location offers cellular reception from major carriers and provides optional electric hookups, making it a comfortable and relaxing spot to pause during travels through northern Utah.
