About
This spot is includes a grass pull off for a trailer no larger than 20ft, since there is no pull through and it can be very difficult to maneuver around the trees and other vehicles in the yard, in order to exit the yard. Suggested Local Attractions:Uinta National Forest, Jordanelle Reservoir, Rockport Reservoir, Deer Creek Resevior.

HOST
Part Time Boondocker Details: My wife, my 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats live in north eastern Utah in a town called Kamas. I have a heck of a time navigating my trailer in and out of the yard but once I do some more landscaping, hopefully I will also be able to offer a space available to camp in our yard. We love to head south in the spring and fall when it's too cold near our house and usually camp throughout the Uinta mountains just a few miles up the road from our house the remainder of the year. Home Town: Kamas, Utah Favorite Boondocking Locations: The Utah mountains and desert have so much to offer and is where we mainly boondock. Unfortunately, much of he BLM land around Utah is being roped off and fees are being charged for spots that used to be free. Skills or Expertise to Share: General plumbing and woodworking skills but my electrical skills leave something to be desired.

Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: Our house is located along side the highway, so it is accessible. We live in an area with a very high water table, so our yard becomes a swamp in the springtime. We are also located at 6800ft, north facing, so our yard holds and receives snow, sometimes until June. We can receive snow as soon as September some years. Also, unfortunately, there is a fairly narrow entrance into our yard that barely fits our 17ft trailer. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: I say no, because parking is limited but you may be able to find a spot for a tow vehicle in summer months. There is no available parking on the highway.
