About
Welcome to Rasmussen Farms in Nephi, Utah
We’re a family-owned working farm in the heart of central Utah, where raising livestock, caring for the land, and producing good food are part of everyday life.
Our farm is home to miniature Hereford cattle, Lowline cattle, pigs, laying hens, and Nigerian Dwarf goats. We practice rotational grazing and regenerative agriculture, with a focus on building healthy soil, improving our pastures, and raising healthy livestock. We believe healthy soil leads to healthy plants, healthy livestock, and better food for our families and communities.
When you stay with us, you’ll experience a little of what life is really like on a family farm. Depending on the season, you may see cattle grazing in the pastures, pigs enjoying their space, chickens busy about their day, or our family out doing chores. We’re happy to share our love of agriculture and give visitors a glimpse into the work that goes into raising food from the ground up.
Be sure to visit our +R Farm Stand when it’s open! We offer farm-raised beef and pork, farm-fresh eggs, handcrafted tallow skincare products, ranch-made goods, and select products from local makers. Availability varies by season, and we love helping visitors discover locally produced goods to take along on their travels.
A few things to know before you arrive:
We are a working farm, so you can expect open skies, country views, and the everyday sounds of livestock and farm life. We have livestock guardian and working dogs, along with our family’s indoor dogs. You may see or hear our dogs during your visit.
Guests traveling with pets should keep them leashed and under control at all times, never allow them to approach our livestock or working dogs, and clean up after them. Our animals’ safety is important to us, and we appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe.
Please enjoy the areas designated for guests and check with us before entering livestock pens, corrals, pastures, or other working areas. Farm conditions and activities change with the seasons, and livestock are not always accessible for close interaction.
Our goal is to offer a peaceful overnight stop where you can slow down, enjoy the countryside, support a small family farm, and experience a little authentic Utah ranch life. We’re not a traditional campground; we’re a real working farm with a family behind it, and we’re excited to share a small part of our world with you.
Whether you’re passing through central Utah or exploring the surrounding area, we look forward to welcoming you to Rasmussen Farms!
