About
Three miles from the gazebo in downtown Leavenworth, WA where parking is competitive. A mountain foothills setting where outdoor recreation reigns supreme, including extreme lounge chairing. Property has a creek running through it. You will be parked alongside this babbling brook. The water makes noise and the birds make noise. Even a distant train makes noise. Pets are welcome but please keep them on a leash and clean up after them. There is an off-leash area behind the barn where they can run.. Garbage facilities are not included. But we can sure offer peace and quiet with some beautiful scenery. Gravel drive and camping area in front of the barn as seen in the pictures, less horses. Free sewer dumpsite available at Nason Creek Rest Stop about 15 miles up Hwy 2 West toward Stevens Pass and at the Chelan County Fair Grounds, about 10 miles down Hwy 2 East towards Wenatchee, charges $5. Limited cell service with Verizon. All other carriers are by hopes and prayers. Suggested Local Attractions: Bavarian Village of Leavenworth, shopping, dinning, 6-man bicycle rides with Rad Tours, golf, mountain biking, wilderness hiking, rock climbing, horse back riding, wagon rides, river rafting/kayaking/tubing, pump track, zip line, carriage rides, tremendous scenery, skiing at Stevens Pass and Mission Ridge, Applets and Cotlets factory, farmers market, Art in the Park, multiple town festivals (see Leavenworth.org), several great churches, Leavenworth Summer Theater - outdoor theater, alpenhorns... Most attended weekly attraction in Wenatchee, located at 277 Melody Lane. Over 1,200 people a week are challenged with a life reset, a life of opportunity with God, and mask free. Thursdays at 6:30 pm and Sundays at 8:30 and 10:30 am. Hang on to your hats. Dress casual: shorts, plaid flannel and ball caps.
