Both Locations offer Creek Camping and Forest Canopy within these Almost Heaven WV Mountains. We offer multiple options and spots for Tent Campers, RV’s and more. Our Beef Farm is 252 Acres in Thornton, WV- is circled by Sandy Creek, flowing to Tygart Lake, Kayaking is possible too! Only 15 minutes from Tygart Lake. Just Us, the Cows, Horses and Dogs! Very Isolated. Our Historic Restaurant Building and Camp Ground are situated on 20 acres next to Raccoon Creek and CSX Freight Railway. Each Primitive Tent Site is Equipped with a Picnic Table, Steel Fire Pit and Porta Potty within 50 yards of Camp Site. Mountain Forest Canopy Sites would not have these amenities. Get out and explore Nature and more! Raccoon Creek wraps around this Beautiful Property, flows to 3-Fork Creek- a popular Trout Fishing Stream! Kayaking is possible with correct water levels.
