About
This multi-generational orchard welcomes guests into a space steeped in agricultural heritage and carefully maintained natural beauty. Founded as a dairy farm in 1919 and transformed into an apple orchard in 1979, the property reflects generations of dedication to growing quality fruit with integrity and care for the land. Guests consistently praise the beautifully maintained grounds, peaceful walking paths that wind through the orchard, and the welcoming atmosphere created by the current owners. The on-site bakery and shop showcase the heart of what makes this destination special. Fresh-baked goods made from scratch—including homemade pies, apple dumplings, turnovers, cider donuts, breads, and cookies—emerge daily from the kitchen, often still warm. The property also features a curated collection of local craft wines, beers, and liquors housed in the historic Barn Cellar, along with a variety of preserved foods, canned goods, and prepared meal options available for purchase. The property offers distinct experiences depending on when guests visit. During the peak season (late August through October), the orchard comes alive with seasonal activities, a farmers market, and abundant produce. Off-season visits (May through August) provide a more tranquil setting ideal for those seeking quiet evenings, stargazing, and the chance to explore the grounds without crowds—guests may even spot wildlife such as deer while wandering the property or enjoy berry picking right outside their camper. Guests consistently note the spacious parking accommodates large RVs with ease, the hosts are remarkably gracious and accommodating, and the overall experience strikes a perfect balance between activities and peaceful relaxation. Whether arriving during the vibrant harvest season or the quieter growing months, visitors discover a welcoming destination that celebrates agricultural tradition while providing comfortable, memorable stays.
