There is a park behind the Idaho Potato Museum excellent for giving your pet a chance to stretch his/her legs. Please pick up any dog "droppings." You can dispose of it in the museum's outside bin in the south parking lot.
Generators Allowed
During the summer season, there may be up to three campers in the parking lot. You will work it out with your camping neighbors as to when and how long to run your generators, so you don't disturb each other.

The Idaho Potato Museum offers a self-guided tour through the museum; a cafe that serves baked potatoes, fries, and other potato-themed foods; and a gift shop. The museum is located in Blackfoot's historic district. There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance, murals, a historic post office with an interior mural painted by Andrew Standing Soldier, and a delightful candy store across the street that serves homemade fudge.
