Through this program, members are granted access to 6000 host locations across North America for overnight accommodations with no camping fees. The History
The Abbott Farm story dates all the way back to the mid 1800’s when the Abbotts wanted to move their farm to a location with easier winter travel. Back in this day, the Abbott Farm grew some produce, bred show horses, and produced dairy, and locals had a hard time reaching their previous farm in the winter. Moving their site allowed for more business in the winter months.
A few generations later, Windsor Abbott and Nancy Hencle were married, and the couple began some pivotal changes on the farm. Windsor sold the cows to focus on grain crops and eventually built an on-site farm stand. By 1993 they needed to expand to a larger country store to encompass all of their products. By 2007, they shifted gears to offer U-Pick crops and make the Abbott Farm into the family experience it is today.

The Business Today
Today, visitors of all ages enjoy visiting this lovely farm. Between the friendly animals, hidden games throughout the farm, and tasty treats, it’s no wonder why. There are friendly goats, a pig, and chickens that can all be fed treats from a coin-operated dispenser.
