1. Cody, Wyoming

Cody, Wyoming is a great vacation destination, offering camping and RVing opportunities right outside of the city limits. This town also has many attractions that everyone will love to see while they are traveling through the area. The Buffalo Bill Center of the West features art galleries, special events, and exhibits on Native American history, as well as Western artwork and artifacts from all over America’s Wild West.

Cody also has other places where visitors can learn about the history and culture of the area, including museums like Yellowstone Art Museum. In addition, there are opportunities for shopping and dining, all in a classic Wild West setting that visitors of all ages can enjoy.

2. Bighorn National Forest

Bighorn National Forest is one of Northern Wyoming's most popular camping destinations. People from all over America have been coming to Bighorn National Forest for years to camp, hike and enjoy the scenic nature around them.Located near Cody, this forest offers so many fun activities for adventurers of all abilities to enjoy. There are many great hiking trails, with two of the most popular being Big Game Ridge Trail and Sugarloaf Mountain. 3. Thunder Basin National Grassland

Located near Little Thunder, this grassland offers RVing opportunities right outside of the city limits. Thunder Basin also offers some truly epic hiking areas, such as Heart Mountain Trail. This trail is full of views along the way with majestic mountains in every direction you turn your head. In addition to hiking trails, there are also two lakes located nearby where people can go fishing or enjoy watersports such as kayaking and canoeing.

RVers can choose from any number of camping destinations, including both campgrounds and public lands boondocking.

4. Devils Tower

Devils Tower may sound like a scary place, but this fun tourist destination is not to be missed. Located near Hulett, Wyoming, this national monument offers so many fun activities in an epic location. Devils Tower legend has it that six girls were picking flowers when they began to be chased by an evil bear. The Great Spirit decided to help them, raising the ground beneath their feet and thus creating Devils Tower. The bear was turned to stone by lightning, and the area has been deemed sacred ever since.

If you’re looking for a great camping spot or RVing location, then Devi’s Tower should be right at the top of your list. Here, visitors can enjoy camping, hiking, climbing, and other outdoor activities. Hiking trails like Chipmunk Trail or Camel Rock Trail offer some of the best views of the surrounding area.

1. Olive Glenn Golf & Country Club - Cody, Wyoming

As the BigHorn Basin’s premier golf course, Olive Glenn Golf Club is your ultimate Rocky Mountain golf destination! Built in 1970 by Designer Bob Baldock, Olive Glenn Golf and Country Club is an eighteen-hole championship golf course with a par of seventy-two. Located in the basin of Cody, Wyoming, this course is surrounded by beautiful mountains and scenic wildlife. With open fairways and manicured greens, you are sure to enjoy your round. A round of golf is required in order to stay overnight, and they offer two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under thirty-five feet in length.

2. Powell Golf Club - Powell, Wyoming

Located just seven miles east of the city of Powell, this eighteen-hole course offers two distinct nines with a variety of challenges for all ages and skill levels. In addition to their beautiful golf course, they also offer a bar and lounge with food available, as well as a pro shop. Currently, they have four pet-friendly spaces available for RVs of any size.

3. SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch - Thermopolis, Wyoming

SonRise Grass Creek Guest Ranch is a real, working cattle ranch with activities and events each day that take place in either the mid-morning and/or the late-afternoon, between meals. Here, the ranch owners invite guests to learn and explore by either get their hands dirty or sitting back to watch the action. Owners Doug and Eve began operating their ranch as a means to produce their own organic, high-quality food. This ranching lifestyle very quickly became a passion project, and they remain deeply committed to the principles of small farming and regenerative agriculture today. They offer showers for rent, daily homemade meals in the ranch cookhouse, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ranch activities, cuts of meat for sale, eggs, and so much more. Currently, they offer six pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size.

4. Green Hills Golf Club - Worland, Wyoming

Green Hills Golf Club is a public course offering a driving range, a putting green, a chipping area, and a practice bunker. It is open to the public from May through October, seven days per week. Available to customers are cart rentals, a golf shop, practice greens, a driving range, and a full restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Currently, they offer one pet-friendly space for an RV up to twenty-nine feet in length.

5. Hidden Bridge Golf Club - Sheridan, Wyoming

Hidden Bridge Golf Club serves all of their guests with fun, no-pressure, affordable golf for all levels and abilities. With a beautiful view of the Big Horn Mountains, you are invited to spend time on their beautiful and well-manicured course socializing, exercising, relaxing, and having fun. In addition to their golf course, Hidden Bridge offers a pro shop and a snack bar, all of which are open every day from May through October. Currently, they offer one pet-friendly space for an RV of any size.

6. SageRidge Mill & Critters - Clearmont, Wyoming

SageRidge Mill & Critters is a family-owned alpaca ranch, commercial mill, and fiber artist retreat located in Clearmont, Wyoming. Here, they offer a gift shop full of alpaca-fiber products, as well as felting classes for those who are interested in learning more about the process. In addition to the gift shop, there is also a patio area, as well as opportunities for hiking and wildlife viewing. 7. Bell Nob Golf Course - Gillette, Wyoming

Bell Nob Golf Course is a county-owned golf course in Gillette, Wyoming. In order to stay overnight, Harvest Hosts guests must book a tee time for one of their two courses. The first course is an eighteen-hole, par seventy-two championship course, and the second is a nine-hole, par three course. In addition to their two courses, Bell Nob also offers a bar, a chipping area, a clubhouse, a dining area, a driving range, putting greens, footgolf, and a pro shop. Currently, they have three pet-friendly spaces available for RVs of any size.

8. J Walker Land & Livestock LLC - Gillette, Wyoming

J Walker Land & Livestock was founded by Jason & Jenna Walker in 2010. After moving to Gillette, Wyoming, to start their careers after college, they missed the ranching way of life that they had both known growing up. Today, this operation continues to be successful, allowing them to produce certified grass-fed beef that is available in a variety of cuts as well as seven delicious flavors of beef jerky. 9. Our Wyoming Life - Gillette, Wyoming

Our Wyoming Life is an awesome Harvest Hosts location in the American West.

Our Wyoming Life is a working cattle ranch, a market farm, and an in-production YouTube channel. They produce videos educating people on the importance of agriculture through entertainment along with education. They also market farm thousands of pounds of vegetables per year, along with raising their own beef and pork, all of which are available at their on-site farm store. Their farm store is open for set daily hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day. but they are willing to open the store at other times to allow Harvest Hosts guests to shop. Currently, they offer three pet-friendly spaces for RVs of any size, as well as electricity and water for an additional charge.

10. Wright Centennial Museum - Wright, Wyoming

Wright Centennial Museum is a local museum with local history in the form of mining and ranching artifacts from mines and ranches across the state. The Wright Centennial Museum provides a unique opportunity to discover the history of the Cowboy State. They invite all guests to learn about everything from the homestead era to the establishment of Wyoming as the nation's energy capitol. The museum is free to the public but encourages donations. They also offer a gift shop and a play area. 11. Red Water Ranch - Sundance, Wyoming

![Northern Wyoming is a great destination for an outdoor lover's road trip. Red Water Ranch joined the Harvest Hosts program in July of 2021,. Here, they offer ranch-raised beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and duck, along with farm-fresh produce, eggs, juices, jams, and more. The ranch encompasses 900 stunning acres, bordering two national forests and offering plenty of opportunities for hiking and wildlife viewing. Currently they offer two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under thirty-five feet in length. Keep in mind that in order to reach this ranch, you must travel a four-and-a-half-mile-long gravel road that is maintained but still a bit bumpy. However, large rigs have driven this road in the past and found the trek very worth it to visit this beautiful ranch.
