Established in 1998, the peaceful and picturesque family operation is run by owner Bill Ringert. It is part of the Snake River Valley Wine Region. “We raise grapes and make what we consider to be high quality wine. That’s our goal, that’s our mission,” Bill said.

Cold Springs Vineyard currently grows 34 acres of vines and has over 12 different varieties. Bill has certainly reached his goal of making high quality wine, as they consistently win awards in The Idaho Wine Competition. In fact, the 2016 Tempranillo recently took home the Gold in the 2018 competition.

“I’ve had a great time with Harvest Hosts,” Bill said. “We’ve had so many interesting discussions on the patio at the winery. I’ve even had some people invite me to supper. I hope you enjoy your stay, enjoy the wine, and have a safe trip wherever you’re going.”

If you are a Harvest Hosts member, be sure to make a stop at Cold Springs on your next RV trip through Idaho. The wonderful wine is rivaled only by Bill’s sweet and genuine hospitality.

If you are not a Harvest Hosts member, you can still visit and enjoy the winery. But to stay overnight in your RV you must join the program.
