What is Harvest Hosts? A Complete Guide to How it Works

Harvest Hosts is an RV camping membership that gives RVers awesome places to stay. For just a yearly membership fee, you get unlimited overnight stays with no camping fees at 5,500+ farms, wineries, breweries, attractions, and more throughout the US and Canada.

How Do I Use Harvest Hosts?
Harvest Hosts is a great resource for any self-contained RVer to have in their pocket to quickly and easily find great, one-of-a-kind RV camping locations.
Finding Hosts
Once you join, log in to the Harvest Hosts website or app to find our interactive map. You can search by Host name, city, and state, or filter the map to find locations that suit your needs, including Hosts that offer same-day requests, extra nights, or electric hookups.
Click on a Host’s profile to learn more about them, what experiences they offer, what products they have for sale, any rules they have, the parking details, reviews of the Host by fellow Harvest Hosts Members, and see photos of the location.
Requesting Stays
Click the “Check Availability” button at the top of the Host’s profile to start your stay request. You’ll be prompted to select your arrival and departure dates, provide some information to your Host, and request extra nights or electric hookup access (if applicable).
Then, you’ll wait for an email letting you know your stay was approved. If you have the Harvest Hosts app, you’ll also get a push notification telling you that the stay is approved.
Before Your Stay
Communicate with your Host and let them know your estimated arrival time. Do not arrive unannounced at any Host location, and make sure your stay request was approved before showing up.
Trip Planning
You can also use the Harvest Hosts app to plan your route to and from different Host locations, or use the trip planner to find Hosts along your route from city to city. Just click on the search bar, then click “Plan Trip” to get started.
