Our quaint little 150 year-old village has a grist mill turned into a museum and a little creek running through. It is approximately one square mile in size and has a population 1500. We are located about halfway between Pontiac and Flint. The Village Pub is walking distance from here and has good food. On Saturdays they also offer breakfast and twice a week live music, with outside seating. The village pizzeria is two doors down from the pub. Within driving distance there are several other restaurants. There is a grocery store a few minutes' drive from here (not very walkable) that is a bit more expensive but has pretty much anything you would need. And there are several gas stations. Our Public Library is also located within walking distance. We have many good hiking trails in the area.
