We are a working family farm nestled along the Wakatomika Creek in the NW Corner of Muskingum County. Oaklawn Land & Livestock has an interesting agricultural history dating back more than 125 years with unique historical landmarks. We invite RV travelers to experience real farm life—complete with tractors in the field, hay baling in the summer, and the daily rhythms of caring for livestock. Our pastures are home to Purebred Charolais and Angus/Simmental cattle, a contract hog growing operation and free-range poultry which provide fresh eggs daily. In addition to our livestock we grow soybeans, field corn and occasionally popcorn, which we can share with you. Guests are welcome to pitch in with chores like feeding the animals, unloading hay bales or simply relax and enjoy the land’s natural beauty and maybe catch a glance of an Amish neighbor’s buggy going by. Try your hand casting a line in the Wakatomika or hike the scenic creekside trail. Resident bald eagles can occasionally be seen soaring above the fields or scouting the creek. Muskingum County is known for exceptional trophy deer and hunting is an option for those looking for that opportunity. We offer farm-raised beef, fresh eggs, and firewood for sale during your stay.
