About
Suburban setting off of a busy (during daylight) county road, close to the highway yet quiet after dark with friendly neighbors within 100 feet. Restaurants located just 1-2 miles away. I provide a small, level gravel parking area in my back yard under trees available for an independent, safe, less than 30 foot rig's overnight stay. The spot is shaded so solar and/or starlink may be iffy. It's also possible during certain times of the year, small acorns maybe drop from the oak trees, just an fyi... Trees are maintained and larger dead branches removed on an every few year basis. A smaller spot is available out front for rigs smaller than 20 feet. We are friendly but not overly into your business if you wish to remain in solitude. Large dogs used to live here so you may see guard dog signs but it is safe to enter. The half acre fenced back yard is closed off well for medium to large dogs. This is a "working yard" so there could be dangers (electric cords, gas cans, tools, my vehicles) to unleashed, unmonitored dogs. You are welcome to leave dog/s off leash if social, well behaved and monitored. Small dogs should be closely monitored for openings they might be able to squeeze out of. Please pick up after your pets. Water is available to fill your tank and there is a septic hookup available free of charge if you need to make some room in your black/grey tanks during your stay. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you get a good nights sleep before you are on to the next leg of your journey! If more than 1 night is needed or other items past the scope of this profile needed, we can talk about that. Suggested Local Attractions: There is a nice, local township park located just a few hundred feet away near an elementary/middle school that also has an asphalt, athletic track that connects to the park walking path if you would like to do some walking or stretch your pet's legs. Closed after dark but possible to still use responsibly after hours as it can be used to go through to get to a subdivision. The park has swings, kids playground, basketball hoops, volleyball court, picnic tables with shelters, bathrooms (open April-Nov.). There is also another walking path not far from the park that I can give you directions to that can expand your walking if the half mile walking path and quarter mile track at the high school isn't enough for you. This other path can lead you to restaurants if you would like to walk 1.5 miles one way from my place and then walk back.

Work, work, work with an occasional break -sometimes longer in the winter months Details: Raised taking family vacations to nearby lakes or campgrounds. Boating, water skiing, snow skiing. Evolved into farther vacations after leaving the family nest. 25 years old, made first solo trip out west in my pickup truck with a cap on the back. 10 years later, did it again with an aging pet in a 4Runner. Decided to venture sooner than 10 yrs and started a "travel west every 5 years" plan in 2015. 2 months at the beginning of 2020 was my 4th trip out west in my newest truck camper rig. Self employed since Junior High school. Enjoy working hard but try to slow down at times for a break. College educated but choose a simple life, sorta. Enjoy doing maintenance on my pickup trucks (still have my first one from 17yrs. old). Always something to do around a home and aging vehicles are always busy needing attention. With my most recent trip I was able to find free water and dump sites along the way (although hard at times) and see from apps there aren't many spots around this area to find the same, so here I am, trying to help and look forward through this avenue of having more choices myself, even for closer more common trips. Home Town: Cincinnati, Ohio Favorite Boondocking Locations: Valley of the Gods, UT; Glen Canyon Rec Area, UT; Death Valley, CA Skills or Expertise to Share: Jack of all trades but master of none. Pretty good at mowing grass. Fairly good at fixing MY vehicles. Have tools, welder and air compressor if needing mechanical help while overnighting. Know my way around a computer.

Parking & Arrival
Access Road Conditions: Best suited for vans, sprinters, truck campers, Class B motorhomes and vehicles under 30 feet. Accessing the driveway coming eastbound REQUIRES swinging into the westbound lane (when clear) to make a full sweep into the driveway to avoid driving through the lawn because the driveway is not 90 degrees perpendicular to the street. Easier option if coming eastbound towards the residence could be to pass the house and turn around in the school parking lot 300 feet away so that you can make access easier by coming westbound. 12'6" MAX HEIGHT as there are utility wires over driveway (cable being the lowest, electric above that). There is a slight hill pulling into the driveway from the street which low clearance vehicles may initially scrape. Pull forward into the fenced back yard through the driveway gate and there is gravel parking near the gate. You can maneuver your rig in the back driveway with ample space to back it comfortably into the spot or pull forward into the spot and you can maneuver when you are ready to leave. Ample turn around room in back driveway, do not back into driveway from the street!
Max Rig Size:
Up to 30 ft
