About
This location offers a charming overnight stop centered around a historic feed and seed store that serves as the heart of the community. The property features ample parking under a large, shady oak tree with room for most RV sizes to maneuver and park without unhooking. The welcoming staff and owner are known for their hospitality, responsiveness to guest needs, and willingness to accommodate flexible arrival times and special circumstances. The on-site store showcases an impressive variety of locally sourced goods alongside traditional farm supplies, including artisanal honey, pickled vegetables, homemade jams, baked goods, fresh produce, and handcrafted items from regional vendors. Guests consistently praise the quality and selection of these local products, along with pet treats and supplies for furry traveling companions. The store also features a pool table for recreation and community gatherings. The location serves as a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions, including Congaree National Park and downtown Columbia, while offering a slower-paced alternative to highway travel. Guests appreciate the easy access and straightforward directions, along with the peaceful small-town atmosphere and opportunities to support local businesses and artisans. The property regularly hosts community events and activities that reflect the location's commitment to fostering connection and engagement. Note that the parking area sits adjacent to active railroad tracks and a nearby road intersection; trains typically pass through one to three times during overnight stays, and some road traffic noise occurs during daytime and early morning hours. Most guests find these elements manageable, particularly with white noise machines or earplugs. The parking surface is generally level and firm, with good drainage and ample shade provided by mature trees.

Hookup Notes
While we do not have a water hookup available at the overnight parking location, we do have water available at the actual store. Please notify us if you need to use the water as we will need to turn the water on from within the store. To fill up, you may pull into the parallel parking spots located on the north side of the building (the side closest to Hwy 6 / W 2nd St). You will see a hose attached to the building near the double doors. Thanks!
