Summer travel is in full swing, and I hope you’re making the most of your adventures! I recently embarked on a six-week RV trip with my family, exploring a variety of Harvest Hosts locations, and had an incredible time. The recent improvements to our Harvest Hosts offerings made the experience even better, and I hope you’re enjoying them as well.

I’m thrilled to announce that Escapees RV Club is now part of the Harvest Hosts family. For those of you who don’t know, Escapees is a remarkable RV membership club founded in 1978 by the Peterson/Carr family with a big focus on community, support, and events for RVers. It has been a beloved cornerstone of the RV lifestyle for over 46 years, and this acquisition brings incredible opportunities and strengthens our commitment to enhancing your RV experience.

Why Escapees?

Escapees RV Club has a legacy of unity and support among RVers, which aligns perfectly with our mission. When the opportunity arose to bring Escapees into the Harvest Hosts family, we recognized the chance to unite two fantastic communities and enhance the RV experience for all members. Harvest Hosts has now acquired the membership and events portion of Escapees RV Club, while Travis and Melanie Carr continue to oversee the mail forwarding and Escapees RV parks.

Over 25% of Escapees members are already part of the Harvest Hosts family, demonstrating the natural shared passion between our communities. This acquisition allows us to build on the strengths of both organizations and offer even more value to all members.

What Does This Mean for You?

Your Membership and Benefits: Your current Harvest Hosts memberships and benefits remain unchanged. You’ll continue to enjoy all the perks and services that you have come to love as a Harvest Hosts Member. Our goal is to build on this foundation, bringing even more value and opportunities to our amazing community.

No Price Increases: There are no immediate plans to increase membership fees for either Harvest Hosts or Escapees members due to this acquisition.

Separate Entities: Escapees and Harvest Hosts will continue to operate as separate entities, ensuring that the unique identities and strengths of both communities are preserved. In fact, while the employees who support the Escapees Mail Service will remain with that business, the rest of the Escapees team is joining the Harvest Hosts family to ensure the identity and integrity of the Escapees and Xscapers brand and community remains the same.
