The family loved the museum and the exhibits are very impressive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no trouble parking for the night and had a great nights sleep despite hearing a few airplanes. That just added to the novelty and fun. Definitely worth a stop.

We arrived about an hour before closing so had time to explore the museum grounds and see the exhibits. We were able park for the night basically anywhere on the gravel among the pioneer era buildings which was fun. We did some extra exploring in the hills behind the museum and the kids played “little house on the prairie” outside once the museum closed. The experience was fun and seamless.
