Harvest Hosts is a membership program for RV camping: unlock unlimited overnight stays at 138 Maine locations, and thousands more.
Learn MorePortland's brewery scene is nationally ranked and thoroughly RV-adjacent, with beach towns from Kittery to Old Orchard stringing along US-1. It's the easy first Maine night northbound — and a hard one to leave.
Boothbay, Rockland, and Camden deliver the postcard Maine: harbors, windjammers, and lobster in every form. Brewery and farm stays here beat the coastal campground crunch, and US-1's slow summer crawl is part of the experience — build in time.
Mount Desert Island's granite shores make Acadia New England's crown-jewel park, and hosts on the mainland side skip the island's tightest quarters. Beyond Bar Harbor, the real Downeast begins — blueberry barrens, working harbors, and the road to New Brunswick.
Inland Maine — Rangeley, Moosehead — is moose country and paddling country, blazing with fall color from late September. Farm stays here trade ocean views for loon calls.
Crossing borders? Browse hosts in neighboring New Hampshire, plus New Brunswick and Quebec for the Canada legs.
Maine has 138 Harvest Hosts locations offering overnight RV stays at coastal breweries, saltwater farms, and alpaca pastures across a state with more coastline than California — 3,500 miles of it once you count every cove. Lobster shacks, lighthouse points, and Acadia National Park headline the itinerary; quiet farm mornings inland are the part members don't see coming. Member-favorite stops include Coastal Craft Brewery & Tavern Retreat, Coastal Equestrian Farm Retreat, and Scenic Alpaca Farm Retreat — the state's three most-booked hosts. Members can choose from 35 farm stays, 5 wineries, and 12 breweries statewide.

This was an end of day request and really appreciated host for responding so quickly. Parking is in a field down the dirt drive next to the farm stand. The sunflowers were blooming and we were greeted by gold finches! The signed flower garden is truly amazing and I could have spent the whole evening there. I would have loved to have talked with the host about it. Host mentioned letting them know when we were coming in so they could put the dog up which I also appreciate. The stand had eggs, jelly, syrup, baked goods and flowers when we were there with a drop box and Venmo. Level spot and quiet night.
