Glacier has two main entrances—west and east. Harvest Hosts offers unique stays close to both, making it easy to explore all areas of the park. Note that vehicle length restrictions apply on Going-to-the-Sun Road, so plan accordingly or take the park shuttle.

Best Times to Visit Glacier

July through September is prime time to visit, when all roads and trails are open. Wildflowers are in full bloom, lakes are warm enough to dip into, and the scenery is at its best. Early fall offers cooler temps and thinner crowds.
